Configure for playback, I suppose? Alright. Open video in Windows Media Player 6.4, then File -> Properties -> Advanced Tab -> Double-click on the DivX codec and slide the filter slider in the min (left) or max (right) direction.
i have a 7.0 windows media is that the problem? i figured out how to configure the codec in the system tray during playback how come u cant configure it in properties? thers no advance tab plus it says that the divxg400 is the codec why? i thought its the 3.11 alpha?
That is exactly the problem with WMP7. You can't configure the filter properties, unlike WMP 6.4. Run the command 'mplayer2.exe' from Start -> Run. That should open WMP 6.4.
