i've been reading on here, other people have been having the same problem... i downloaded DivX 5.0.2 and still i cant see the picture of the film, only the audio...
I've had this same problem with DivX movies. I think a lot of it has to do with which codecs you have installed and which codec was used to encode the video file you are trying to play. The following has worked for me everytime to fix the problem:
Open VirtualDub. If you don't have this program, then get it because it is an essential tool.
Open the file you need to fix.
Select 'Video' from the menu and choose 'Direct Stream Copy.'
Select 'Audio' from the menu and choose 'Direct Stream Copy.'
Select 'File' and 'Save as AVI.'
That's it. The process should take no longer than 3 or 4 minutes, and your movie should play both video and audio fine.
