    Problems with AC-3 audio sync

I have a problem with DivX-movies that are encoded with the AC-3 codec for the sound. If I skip a part of the movie, the audio no longer is in sync. I have installed the ac-3 codec (is there only one?) and several DivX codecs (3.11, 4.12 and 5.02).
I play the movies on an system with Athlon 1800+ cpu and Ati Radeon 8500 video card, zo speed can't be the problem right?
The problem also occurs on my other machine with an Athlon 1200 cpu and Winfast G-force 2 400 videocard.

By the way I use MicorDVD and MV2player (that one rocks!!) to play the movies

Try using the old (and VERY reliable) Windows Media Player v.6.4...
