yea thats why i asked you guys before, i really dont want to install if not needed, but have been giving some serious thought about the cool and quiet driver.

mill, if I were you I would just watch my temps and if you start getting in the
40's idleing, then it would be worth your while to have C&Q installed.
I am going to do the same with my overclocking, but as long as I can run
cool, it's no benefit to have it.Comment

I have activated Cool n Quiet (it was set to auto automatically). I also installed Power Monitor.
It goes down to 1000mhz when idling with my 64 3700 and it does go up to 2200mhz when it needs to.
Idling temperture is around 28 C. At the moment even with DVD Rebuilder running it is only 32 C and at 2200mhz.Comment
