What filter did you use to get that "plastic" effect. I looks like they have been "shrink wrapped."
Later.

I wish I would have found this thread when I bought my Canon EOS Rebel XSi 12.2MP camera. I loved the camera Unfortunately, I had to return the camera because I needed the money back (I had to pay Uncle Sam $1,300 back in taxes).
some of my favs from the fox river flood last spring 2008
Here are some of my favorite pics taken on the Fox River after the wicked flood that wiped out a lot of our city last summer. As devistating as that was there are some pretty pics from it though.
NON of this pics were edited or photoshoped in anyway shape or form. These are shown just the way they were taken.
You're in packer land, cheese head, hence behind the chedder curtain. Also WI is noted for their cheese.
LMAO! I have heard the terms packer land and cheese heads but never in the 38 years that I have been alive have I heard the term "behind the cheddar curtain" LOL
Yes I am in WI State. about an hour to an hour and a half from the IL boarder. And yes the Fox River runs through WI and IL states not sure how far it goes but its a long one.
WOW, I have never seen pictures taken from a rock concert that look that sharp, I am impressed.
How close were you?
You must be a pro.
Amasing pics UncasMS!
i am far from being a pro, pa, but thanks for the kind words.
that concert was a coverband playing in a very small hall so i was able to step right up to the stage.
(will be seeing metallica these days but as opposed to the coverband i will not be allowed to take pictures )
some pictures were taken with wideangle lenses (10-17mm) and others with a 100mm lens.
concerning sharpness: most of the pics i took that night looked rather crappy because the light was extremely bad and you only see the better one
the other aspect is: you can actually gain something with imaging tools
i apply sharpening filter to almost any picture you see here because you will always have to sharpen an image after reducing its resolution.
if you don't mind i'd like to demonstrate that even with your lovely photo there is a little more to it which can be unveiled.
take a look at sharpness and highlight/shadow balance
