    i guessed 2-1 for united and v. nistelrooy's & shearer's goals!

in the words of one Chris Rock: "I WON, I WON, I WON... what tha f**k did I win?"

anyways, that's Ruud's 10th straight game with a goal scored by him - amazing and 'recordish'

    go vIlla! go liverpool!

Isnt it now his 11th game in a row in the premiership scoring?? He is a great player. We need to see more of Ronaldo and Kleberson though sometime soon.

well, wanna speculate? how about like 3-4 goals for United that could've been scored if not for the damn referee? how many times did he not see fouls on MU players in and around penalty box?

Isnt it now his 11th game in a row in the premiership scoring??
and I'm pretty sure it's 10th, coz the papers say so

yup. when he 1st came to MU i thought he wouldn't be as good as Yorke or Cole, but he suprised me very very positively. he's great.

you're correct. he followed his 36 debut goals with 44 last season, 25 of which were in premiership.

i've just seen the score from birmingham... as i thought - a draw (0:0)

                    Middlesborough 0 - 4 Arsenal

Well, Arsenal cruised to an emphatic victory over the Middlesborough side. It looked like a real stroll in the park for them. They kept 60% possession in the first half with 3 out of their 4 goals coming within the first 22mins. It ended Middlesborough 0 - 4 Arsenal. Amazing skill from the Arsenal side, it was like they were teasing the Riverside team some of the time. It just goes to show you that there are only two teams that can turn on the style like that in the premiership. Man Utd and Arsenal. The rest can only pray to be as good. Chelski?? Who the f*ck are Chelski?? LOL

Probably - though i hope not. It must be difficult for him to cope with knowing that no matter how well they play, United will always play better Eh Admin?? U agree LOL

                          Them words are banning words

I watched the game live - 1-3am Aussie time, despite being sick (feeling like hell this morning).

But it was worth it. Everyone played well and more importantly, played well together.

Chelski (or is that Chelskov, since "ski" is Polish, I've heard it mentioned) beats Liverpool and Leicester City (both narrowly), and they think they're the best team in the world. But Liverpool drew with Aston Villa, who lost to Portsmouth last week, so just exactly how good Liverpool is at the moment is anybody's guess. I hope Man U and Arsenal will give them a proper footballing lesson this season

And indicative of the media bias against Arsenal, at least here in Australia, here's how they described the overnight "soccer" results :

Announcer : Harry Kewell was in action today, for Liverpool
Footage : Harry Kewell missing an open goal
Announcer : It was a rare miss for Kewell as Liverpool drew 0-0 with Aston Villa.
Footage : Shows Arsenal's third goal
Announcer : Arsenal won 4-0 against Middleborough

So 4 goals deserves 5 seconds of footage, and 1 single sentence, yet a Harry Kewell miss in a goal-less game (something I thought would be too embarrasing to mention) deserves the headlines. I understand the fact that Kewell is Australian, and hence the enhanced coverage, but that doesn't explain the fact that ManU get the same amount of coverage (then again, it was Sky news, so maybe that *does* explain it all).

lol - looks like im getting banned then cuz its true

Arsenal really looked amazing today. They kept possession and it were relaxed in their play. All they did was up teh pace very so often and score a goal. It was a pleasure to watch them and it easily couldve been 14-0 instead of 4-0. Middlesborough got a let off in my opinion, which brings me to my next statement: It really is only going to be between Arsenal and Man Utd this year in the Premier league. I expect both teams to win virtually all of their games, bar any injuries with United beating Arsenal at Old Trafford and Highbury to secure the title.

However, I feel that Admin may disagree with me. But hey, what would he know - he's Australian LOL
