Geeze...it stuck me right where Howard Dean and Wesley Clark are....something's wrong here. BTW...pay attention to the subtitles on the scale...Left= communist/collectivist, Right= Neoliberal/libertarianist, Bottom= Libertarian/anarchist, Top= Authoritarian/fascist. Don't you just love lables?

I think you'll find that most politicians hover around the same area on the graph. This is because politicians with differing views usually don't get elected to anything, or are out of office real soon. There are small differences, and that's what we're all voting for, really.
But sometimes you get someone like President Bush, and you do get a big difference to vote for (and his advisors are even more "out there" on the political scale). Could be a very interesting election this year, one that determines the fate of the US for the next two or three decades.

The test seemed to reflect the personal preferences people actually have...not the political positions politicians feel they must espouse to win the support of their constituents to get past the election hurdle. Could it be that to be a leader one has to be diciplined in his own life, respect authority, but question totalitarians and have the strength to formulate his own ideas of how things should be done...and persuade others to do it? Studying Sadam...his Baathist party is an offshoot of the Baathist party started in Syria (during World War II, when Syria was governed by Vichy France (the French Fascist/Nazi's). They aren't Communists...they're Nazi's (which still puts them in the left quadrants on this scale...with the other socialists)...which can be confusing.Comment

Interesting fact is that Prescott Bush (George W.'s grandfather) financially supported the Reich during WWII via bank loans, etc., but then some European jewish bankers also supported Hitler @ beginning of WWII via bank loans. No wonder some claimed Hitler became addled during the war.
Really, the US presidency for a very long time (if not from the beginning) has been decided by business......political "donations" are thinly veiled bribes as all honest persons are aware.
As noted earlier, some of George W.'s advisers are "out there" (Eugenics subscribers, etc.). One does wonder if George W. actually believes in God, but that is always a litmus test for election, is it not? The US people holler about equal rights, but will not elect those whom do not believe in God....ahhhhh, the "human herd". Undoubtedly, George W. is actually a person whom does not really believe in God and only mouths the litmus qualifiers for election purpose. Bush's deeds have proven that belief in God is foreign to his agenda.
@ least Jimmy Carter's superstions caused the people to be treated better, though Carter did cause the destruction of the US middle class.Last edited by Quality's Proof; 7 Feb 2004, 02:37 PM.Rig :

Joe Kennedy (JFK's father, the US Ambassador to Britain...the Architect of Munich) also supported Hitler (as did the deposed King of England...which is why Rudolph Hess thought he could just jump into the Royal Residence in Scotland and end the war.) Actually, Musselini started as a Marxist after WWI...but found himself competing with too many people for donations. Then he hit on a plan. He said, "I want a type of socialism that's between Communism and between Capitalism...where government works together with business." The Bolshevicks had just murdered the Tsar, and the industrialists were terrified that their property would be seized, as it had been in Russia. They eagerly supported the Fascists, who promised to stand between them and the Mob of Communists in their own country. Ten years later, when he was elected Chancellor, Hitler said," I want to follow the same type of socialism as Musselini because it works so well in Italy. The Trains run on time. I want a type of socialism that's between Capitalism and between Communism, wher government works together with industry...and my name for that type of socialism is the Third Reich."( or words to that effect.). But the idea didn't die with Hitler. In the nineties Bill Clinton said," I want a type of socialism which is between Capitalism and between Communism...where government works together with industry...and my name for that type of socialism is the Third Way." Funny how way gets mixed up with Reich. BTW, Tony Blair claims to be a third wayer, too...Hitler didn't win election by saying he was going to start a war and kill all the Jews...he promised Peace, Law and Order, and reestablishingPride in one's country. He was support by many German Jews...I believe Adolpho Krupp (Krupp Iron Works, Essen) was a Jew. Carter may have been a good Christian...but he was terribly inept. Remember 20+% interest rates...and inflation the likes of which were horrible...the COL tripled during his four years. And he almost gave away the free world to the Soviets.Last edited by rsquirell; 7 Feb 2004, 03:15 PM.Comment

Yeah, Joe Kennedy was a notorious bootlegger during US prohibition era and made many millions$'s smuggling Scotch whiskey, etc. into US. That bootlegging is source of Kennedy clan's Billions $'s.
It's all a schooled liars club, and they will do anything under the sun for $$$'s.
Glad I refused such traitorship to mankind.Rig :

Prescott Bush was actually sanctioned by the US government for illegal dealings with the Nazis after war was declared in 1942, and after he was warned not to do so.
I truly believe "true socialism" (of which there is nothing currently even close to it in world politics) is the way of the future, something that mankind always strives to achieve. Just look at Star Trek - even the capitalist Ferengis try to improve their society to become more socialist in nature
Regardless, it can't be achieved without the technological advancements mentioned in Star Trek (like unlimited energy, resources, and of course, the holodeck), and it's futile to even try to reach this step in society's progress, as Communism has demonstrated. To reach this stage, capitalism is key, although not the unfettered kind of capitalism as seen in many developing nations today, in the US/Europe of the past, and unfortunately, coming back to the US with all the Enron scandals and corporate greed. Not that I have read Marx, but I've talked to people that have and they agree this is part of what Marx theorizes (obviously not the Star Trek part), which was conveniently ignored by many followers of Marx. But the goal must be clear, and capitalism isn't the be-all and end-all of society's progress (at least I hope not).
And of course, the most important issue of today is: what does everyone think of Janet Jackson's breasts during the Super Bowl?Comment

As far as a free people go, nothing on earth (@ this time) is superior to the northern american natives before and shortly after the european influx. Even the US constitution is "borrowed" from the Native American's league of nation's constitution. US caucasians always "borrow" their claim to "greatness".
Interesting that George W. (the grandson of a traitor to the US people) was made president, not by the will of the US people, but rather by the US federal supreme court. But, Gore didn't leave the protestants a choice.
Unless the people discard technology as their "God" and actually try to evolve by making correct choices and thereby unravelling the real gordian's knot, technology will betray them as "free" and super-abundant energy is the key to "technological advancement" and we all know whom actually controls the "energy supplies" and thereby interferes with solar power, tidal power, etc..
Even today, the most learned of scientists haven't a clue as to what some of the "ideas" of electricity's developers meant about "free energy". Logic only goes so far and then stops.
Without that "free-energy", there will be no real technological advancement which means "freedom" for the people as those whom own the modern supplies have their puppets running the various governments.Rig :

World War I marked the end for "Devine Right of Kings" in the world. The Kaiser and Tsar ( their language's word for Caesar (Emporer) respectively) ceased to rule, which create a power-vaccum in Europe. The great Socialist movement (personified by Marx and Engles) which had begun during the eighteenth century Industrial Revolution eagerly stepped in to fill the void. They promised a world without kings and totalitarian rule....which would lead to better understanding between nations...and a world without war. What we got, of course, was simply a replacement of Kings for Ordinary Men. The philosophy failed to account for human nature...Greed, and Absolute Power corrupts Absolutely. The first American communist was elected when Teddy Roosevelt let his ego get the better of him, and sought a third term running as the BullMoose candidate against Taft...thus splitting the "conservative" (capitalist) vote...allowing those who wanted strong central government ruled by a central authoritarian figure (their only experience with such at that time being a King...the AAron Burr faction of the Constitutional Convention) the opportunity to install Woodrow Wilson. Wilson began changing the constitution through amendments to install the planks of the Communist Manifesto into US law. Most of the planks sound noble on their face...one was quoted on the test we just took..."From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." The Income Tax (expressly forbidden by the Constitution) needed the 15th Amendment (which,BTW, has never been ratified by the States), Women's Sufferage (what fiend could deny those wimpering, emotional beings who think with their "feelings" rather than their heads the right to vote) needed the 18th Amendment. Public Education, Child Labor laws and other Communist Manifesto planks were enacted by the 16th and 17th amendments (while the bulk of our manhood was preoccupied in Europe fighting someone else's war. The sweep of Socialism around the world after that war seemed inevitable...until the Fascists/National Socialists stepped in to promise property owners they would protect their "property rights" by standing between them and the barbaric Bolshevicks. What you then had was a "what flavor of Socialism do you want to support" syndrome that hit the Monied people around the world...the politicians all being socialist, and the monied people wanting to hang onto their assets...who do you think they supported. They are only "Traitors" because FDR (who got elected as a result of the Wall Street Crash) wanted to bring this country back into the fold of world communism, allied himself with Stalin's soviet Russia, and tried to expand on the great work begun by Wilson (and his wife...who ruled in his stead behind the scenes after he became seriously ill at the Armatice signing). Many people sided with the NAZI's against the Communists during this time( remember Lindburgh)...and FDR considered all of them "traitors", but they were "Traitors" only to FDR...not to America. They fought against the NAZI's once we were attacked. There are those that think the TRUE Traitor was FDR...for attacking our Constitution (and Individual Freedom.)Comment

We do know where this thread will eventually lead to don't we? Somebody would ask ....THE Question.....whereby, most people would immediatelt "dumb-up" and join ranks ("circle the wagons") against a shocking (to them) truth which would refute their deepest belief, which is their most awful superstition.
If such do ask that question, I will tell you now that it is as the song goes"...1 is the loneliest number...".

Interestingly, FDR paid the UK a debt in gold (UK would not accept greenbacks) which amounted to many Billions$$$ and then UK would not pay US some debts in gold but with "promises". FDR was a traitor, also.Rig :
