      nortons, but i wish i wouldn't have to, it really eats up alot of power. I know its not like i have to but i kind of trust it more so then the free ones, when my subsription runs out im going to try somthing else, i dont no what one yet.

            nav2003 and only to scan files and very occasionally the system partition,
            tried 2004/2005, keep em away from me!

            anony, you don't even use to scan a suspicous file?

                  nope. neither do i install any of MS's updates (aside from SP2). i have outpost firewall, configured it the way i like, have not had a single problem in years. of huge net usage.

                  but i do the obligatory adware/spyware checks every 1-2 months or so, which usually come up empty
