I still enjoy boxing, but i would agree that it's just a substitute when i don't have any new MMA. I can't wait to see Paquiao and Morrales fight. Really rooting for Klitscho to unify heavyweight title, but so many fights are either grossly one sided or so defensive and cautious it takes the fun out of the sport.

I watched the Valuev/Barrett fight and it was painful to watch...Valuev's only strength is his size. He's just a big, slow, cumbersome fighter. Terrible.

I watched Lethal Weapon last night for the 10,000th time, but i still really dig the fight scene where Mel Gibson finishes Gary Busey with a triangle choke. He missed the first attempt but had it locked in perfectly on his second try, it was textbook and kinda funny i had never noticed it before this viewing.Comment

Valuev was so sloppy. I watched the replay of that fight last night and also watched Corrales Vs Casamayor. Neither fight was that exciting. I was really dissappointed with corrales for not making weight and then not take casamayor out. Corrales has fought some battles, but i don't think he will ever be as good as he was in the first Castillo fight.
I can't wait till Klitscho starts fighting some of these guys in the heavyweight division. I know some people are suspect of his chin, but i am pretty sure when the dust settles on this division he is going to be the man on top. Isn't Shamrock Ortiz 3 soon?Comment

I was suprised as well...I never really got the whole Franklin thing, I know he is good; but I always thought he had a suspect chin. If he's as good as everyone thought he was, he'll be back on top in no time flat. Check out this fight card coming up this weekend:

the hunt/butterbean fight has new rules....they are going to have 5 3 minute rounds, and will be wearing boxing gloves...so it is a boxing match...stupid
