Yesterday I tryed to back up a backup.

I tryed ripping the backup as .ISO it failed once and ripped one time but the burn from that rip didnt play right. So I tried to rip it again as .ISO again with a fail with DVDD. (This back up was burned with my old Optorite on a Princo)

So I tested the wuality of that disc and this is what I found:

Thank god for dvd shrink, I was able to rip this movie with dvd shrink and save it as .ISO and then burned it again with my BenQ with IMGburn. This is the result of that:

This was to a different situation but it got me thinking.

I decided back when I started scanning with benq, that I would collect sample sannings. Before and after firmware (BCDC to BCHC).

Media and speed are the same. New batch of TY started within this period.
            PI failures increased.

I am posting this in this thread because eventually I want to be able to do this test. Looking for feedback on LiteOn 160P6S. I can get it for a good price Canadian.

don't look for a high QS(98 or 99) with liteon scan, they scann at a closer
interval than benq or nec and a 2 pif will give a 95? You have to watch the pif totals, a 100 or below will be a great burn. If anything their scans are more reliable than benq's.
