          Real nice burn!
Have you done any tests on 8x burns? I would imagine they test very well.
I must say those Lite-On burners seem great for cd/dvd speed tests.

Nice scan soup! Sure gives nice low readings, especially the PIE, but it also likes a QS of 95 it seems, lol.

Any clue of the spike in pi failures towards the end? rating was 95 throughout, and at the end dropped to 90. It's actually done that on my last 2 burns, don't know why. Sure plays nice in my picky toshiba player that wont play some of my other burns that aren't done to dvd-rom!

That's where trouble can happen. I had some Sony D11 that were mint until the 4 gig area and then went nuts.

Sometimes it's the media, sometimes burning too fast, that's all it takes.

those small clump/spikes are often bad dye spread and happen more at the outer edges

I have had several disks in a row that had them in the same spot, but deeper in the spindle they disappear

burning too fast usually gives a steep curve upward that doesn't go back down at the end

                        nice burn

went out today looking for verbatims and stumbled across a 50 pack of sony 1x-8x dvd+r's made in japan at circuit city and a 25 pack at best buy. both reasonably priced due to a sale, so i thought what the heck. here is the first burn with them, not too shabby at all, thanks once again to all the tips and advice from the forums esteemed members, kudos to you all!!!
