Thanks Chewy, yeah I realize the problem with the 1 vs. 8 ECC, that's why I was hoping you might've had an off the wall idea or something that we could try. Maybe I'll just have to buy a 1650 soon and test before my 552 gives out.

Man that's a lot of burners I want to buy, I think maybe next week or so I will order a 1650, 3550, and a 109. You have any others I should keep in mind, do you have a link to the serial burner you were speaking of.

I just got my white hub-printable CDs from Meritline - they're GRAY, partially. And Meritline's policy says they're not responsible for manufacturing defects, so they won't pay the return shipping. That's illegal. I won't be doing any more business with them.
