sorry for generalizing all the modz in my last post.
but next time please treat us a member here, not a soldier that need to follow your "hidden" rules.
i know admin is the owner of this site, but pls look how the reply of SOME of your modz in my last post. i dont know if they are embarassing me, showing their tough or what. i hope i'm the only one experiencing that problem.

Well, I usually don't get involved in stuff like this, but... Simply put, as admin stated,
The main issue here is that I run this forum and despite what you might think, I'm ultimately responsible for all your posts, attachments and everything that is on this website.
Not just here, but online in general & also in "real life". I am an avid ebay seller, & I get some of the most ridiculous emails sometimes from folks, & I feel I am very fair, going beyond the "call of duty" at times.
But I digress; at the risk of straying too far off topic, I still feel my comments are relevant to the thread... Folks, just lighten up a bit!
Oh, and I am not <BR>

The Mods here are amongst some of the best I've seen from any forums I've been or am a part of. They are surely the most knowledgeable I've encountered, thats for sure...
Sure I bucked heads with Blu about AnyDVD, but he still allowed the debate despite strong disagreements between us at times. Hell I was banned from CDFreaks a long time ago for having a dispute about something with a Mod there, AND it was only about opinions and nothing of substance!!!!! He started saying I was off topic and being rude, just because I didn't agree with his opinion and disputed it with my own opinion on the matter.
Anyways, a mods job at times is not a popular one when they are forced to enforce the rules. So if you can't appreciate their viewpoint, you have all the right to protest, or also just to simply move on. My hope is that you are more understanding of their position and will remain and share 'your' viewpoints...
BTW, I am back at CDFreaks under a new user ID...Shhhhhhh, don't tell them...they don't know yet...lmaoMBK

i guess many of us know what it feels to be treated "unfair" somewhere in some forums and i dont want to start a poll about how many of us feel pissed of with SOME mods in some forums
i remember one of the bigger video forums around and some of their so called mods running havoc with the little power in their hand called "moderating abilities"
hardly being familiar with what some of us were talking about and still thinking they were the ones to know all and closing threads or deleting posts
this really sucks - i know too well myself
still i hope that whenever i or any of my fellow mods have closed a thread or deleted a posting we did not leave anyone under the impression that it was due to being of different opinions!
let us all calm down a bit over what has happened to the forum lately and let us not get into fights over who done what as this will lead us nowhere and cause nothing but more trouble than we already have at hand
let's agree that we can happily disagree but still respect each other and let's make this forum stay an interesting place for all of us - not only us power hungry mods or adminComment

Well,
Guess it is time the Ratboy chimed in.
One can see when I 1st signed in to the forum. Nevertheless, I had downloaded many a guide before then.
I became most active apx. 9 months ago. (Time to try to pay back some for all the great information I had learned here.)
I would like to say, “This is a forum that I can tell anybody about, without worrying if it would be appropriate for anybody who was willing to follow the rules of the forum”.
I appreciate the MODZ & ADMIN on this site very much. IMO Their decisions are final, and have allowed this site to stay a site that I plan to stay active in.
Having said that, I hope to learn more, hopefully be of help to some, and rely on the MODZ to do what they have been doing to keep this a site for people who follow the simple rules and request of the ADMIN. THANK YOU ALL!!!! (Yes, that is yelling)
While I am being windy, I would ask all MODZ to continue doing what you are doing. In addition, when I do slip up, understand that it is not on purpose, but do what you must.
I have also asked some questions, which apparently are better left unanswered, and I understand if that is the case.
In closing this story, I have come to think of this forum as a family. Therefore, like any family I suspect to see some ruffled feathers sometimes (good thing Rats have fur), but when the head of the house sets rules, IMO they must be followed.
Again, I would like to tell everybody here, this is a #1 forum and I plan to stay and try to help anyone I can.
RBImportant: Remember, if something is worth doing, its worth doing wrong until you learn to do it Right!

I also want to chime in with my support of Admin as well as all the modz, now granted I have never been 'in trouble' with Admin or a mod but that is for one reason..I follow the rules...weather I like them or not..This is not my site, nor do I have anything to do with running it..its not my a$$ on the line here its admins...while I agree I would love to know more about a certain topic I feel its our duty as members of this fine forum to respect the owner of said forum as well as his mods...I like to think of it this way, if I was in a bar causing trouble the owner (admin) would be in his rights to have his bouncers (mods) kick me out. No matter what, Admin is the boss and we have to go with what he says, don't like it? Then don't stay.sigpic
Turn down the suck...Turn up the
good
