SO Lost, I want to rip audio from dvd to cd

I have been trying all night to be able to rip audio from a dvd and convert it to .MP3 and .WAV

I have found this guide:

It makes so sense to me I follow it and this is what happens:

What I need to know is WHAT BeSweet do I download and how and where do I install it?

There are so many and they dont seem to have an install.

OK Here is what is happening:










Some where alone the lines of playing with this I was able to convert a few of the chapters into .MP3 but NOthing plays. File is too small as well to have a .mp3 file I have no idea what to do now.

what is BeSweet = what do I download there are many options here and non of them seem the same as the guide or work.











The guide seems so simple..... but all I am doing is chasing circles and getting nowhere.

Thaks Lt. a friend found this searching the net I have ben playing with it so far so good and its free. The only thing is I have to crank up the volume on my computer. I wonder if once burned to a cd it will still sound quiet.

You need certain dlls to make BeSweet/BeLight work to its fullest potential - these are available on the dspguru site. For some reason, the latest BeLite beta doesn't have all these. Just do what it says and go back to v0.21 of BeLight.

You can rip in VOB and transcode to MP3.

Once you get the hang of it, the BeSweet interface isn't that hard to use either.

besweet/belight hasn't been the most stable app for me, also huge downside doesn't support dts; you might like to try BeHappy

edit: don't think belight accepts VOBs? IIRC it used to but feature was removed

PA if you still wish to use belight, download vobinput.dll (and dimzon's besweet plugins) and place into besweet/belight 0.21 directory.

i've just used belight and apply boost, now with mp3gain wouldn't work if the file was to be burned on a disc, right?

taking a few gigs of mp3's and batch normalizing, shows the real potential of that program.

changes how the audio is decoded; audio needs to be decoded before it's encoded (back to wav in this case)-- the volume will be just how mp3gain adjusted it


too bad it only works on mp3's. for aac audio there's aacgain

besweet does (with the help of an external encoder, azidts) but belight doesn't as of yet
