i have had some problems converting divX to mpeg2 for dvd, the frame rate and picture size are correct, but some strange effects happen with the audio, so what softwarw dose this conversion corectly.

tried that first,
that prog will only do it if the avi has been cut at key frames,
i have the latest version if virtual dub, it lets you cut on any frame.
it plays fine as an avi, but i think that this may have caused some form of interleave problem, so i probably need a prog that can treat the sound file and vid as if they came from diferent sources.Comment

As far as I know, the latest version of VirtualDub is v.1.4.10 - and it has not changed anything regarding cutting on other than keyframes. Check out the author's website at:
