Sound won't play even though audio codecs are installed correctly

Hello, i've a big problem for some days already. Two of my DivX files are played without sound. The properties tab says "Audiocodec unknown".
But: i've tried some of the tips posted here and installed GSPot. The program says the movies need AC3 and MP3 as audio codecs, respectively, for both of which I've installed codecs which seem to work (for AC3 i've tried both the combinations IVIAudio/MPGAudio and AC3Filter/MPGAudio, same result). However, Gspot says DirectShow is unable to render the sound (no Audio Media is given in the textbox) nonetheless - without reporting errors.
Even more strange is that I have another Divx which also uses AC3 but where DirectShow renders correctly. The only difference is that the working DivX uses 112/ch bitrate while the other uses 96/ch. I've tried various filter packs including the Direct Show pack but was not able to solve the problem so far. Who can help me? Both the not working DivX have "DVDivX" in filename btw.

I'd like to but I don't find it. Download from your site doesn't work for me for some reason (even after turning off the software firewall).
Also, which part should I install, i.e. what could be the reason for my problem? I wouldn't want to install all as some parts of these packs are really screwing up my system.
