Gray screen displayed when playing divx video!!

I downloaded a divx movie and it worked just fine (I use bsplayer to display subpictures). So, I downloaded another one. When playing it I only see a gray screen! With divx player2 it works fine but I can't display subpictures with it. I have tried bsplayer, windows mediaplayer and avipreview. Sound works fine. And guess what, the movie I downloaded earlier doesn't work either anymore (same problem)! I have tried gspot. Help me!!!

The whole movie is just gray. I also tried to reinstall the divx 5.02 pro codec. I've made one divx movie myself and that one works just fine. What's a gspot screenshot=)

when running gspot and having this probematic file loaded into gspot, the information that gspot gives you + the information nandub will tell you when loading and looking at => file => file information might help.

thus simply make a screenshot from gspot by pressing PRINT SCREEN + save this with any graphic tool to jpeg and attach it with your posting!

Propably I'm just dumb but I can't make the screenshot. Well anyway gspot says these things: file length correct, (video) codec IS installed, (audio) codec IS installed and file rendered succesfully. And the other file that also doesn't work worked fine just a week ago!

I checked file information with nandub, nothing weird there. And I tried to preview the movie with nandub and it worked just fine.

              - use a different OVERLAY in bsplayers options!

              - a screenshot could be created this way:
pressing PRINTSCREEN - on your keyboard above the arrow keys at the very top left position:

now the entire screen will be sent to memory
pressing ALT + PRINTSCREEN will only send the content of the active window to memory

of course you will have to PASTE this memorycontent into any graphic tool like PAINT/PAINTSHOP/COREL/PHOTOSHOP....
