    Problem with codecs

I installed both nimo and tsunami packs, uninstalled divx and xvid codecs that I had previously. But now everything is screwed up! I was playing most files fine except for a few files where only the video played with no audio. Now, I can't even load the video files that played improperly anymore! Windows explorer or Windows Media Player (I use v 9 but I dunno if that's just it) would crash or both. I dled BSPlayer too but it gave me an error message on files that I played successfully before. So I know there's something wrong but I just don't know what. I'm so frustrated! The error message for BS Player was long but if anyone can understand it and tell me what it means in layman's terms I'd be really grateful. I'm not interested in making any kind of videos-- just want to play them back!!!

Looks like you have a problem with the Morgan Stream Switcher.
    Try uninstalling it.

      A little more problem

Well I ended up uninstalling nimo and tsunami and just re-installing DivX, XviD and installing ffdshow. Maybe I shouldn't have done that? It doesn't give me that error now... but now i'm not sure what codecs I'm missing out on. People keep giving me conflicting opinions like packs like nimo are bad, just dl the codecs separately. And I sorta have a problem with a green tint to some of my vids now when I play them in Windows Media Players-- and they're DivX files...

Anyone know what to recommend? I got confused installign nimo and tsunami because I dunno what the hell any of the stuff in there does... I know what a codec is.. but that's pretty much it-- anything else underneath a different name is confusing to me. Sorry, I'm kinda a n00b.

having tsunami instaleld for years now, i didnt realize any problem with or without morgan stream switcher

try reinstalling tsunami 397 (no older versions) via CUSTOM and keep all defaults.
