    Tsunami 3.9.9 Install Problem

    Hey guys,
I am trying to install the Tsunami 3.9.9 pack, but I keep getting this error: "Need Disk 1 or the location of layout.bin." Can you guys help me out? Thanks.

    - where did you get that version 399 from
    - what is the exact size in byte?
    - HOW did you try to install it (which option[s])?

      Install

      Hi,
I'm running XP Pro on my computer. I don't know the exact size of the tsunami file, because I already erased it from my computer. I downloaded it from your site, by clicking on the icon in your signature.
I tried to install it several times doing both the typical and custom installs. I kept the default installation folder. The installshield would start up, the program also said welcome when it started which was cool. However, once it would actually start the install it would never go past 0%, the Need Disk 1 error would come up. It would also say something about 'layout.bin.'

havent come across an error like this before.

in case you're willing to retry downloading and installing 399, i would ask you to make a screenshot of the error message and contact me.

i'd talk to tsunami and we'll see what happens!?

a wrongly set temp variable or insufficient space might be the reason for this error according to tsunami.

could you please try running the installer with this parameter:

            Tsunami_Filter_Pack_3_9_9.exe -a -deleter

              It Worked

              Thanks, that did the trick.

However during the install I received a message saying that some files needed to run Windows properly had been replaced with unknown files and I should put in the XP service pack 1 CD to restore them. Should I be worried about that? So far everything seems to be running well.
