No sound in any software...

Hello all.
Im running WinXP Home OS.
When i want to watch a a Movie there is no sound, just the video.
i tried to install many CODECs but nothing changed..

when im running the WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER it said that it looking for the codec but at the end , it says that it fail...
(as well as DIVX player )

do u have any idea how can i solve this problem??

download and install the tsunami codec and filter pack from UncasMS' site. Tsunami is better than nimo, and having the both of them installed will only make things worse, so just get teh tsunami 399

i think that a sound codec is missing , but how can i know for sure what is missing?

have you installed the tsunami codec pack yet? The codec should be in there. intervideo ac3 decoder I think it is called

download mpgaudio.ax and make sure to register it:
