Very LOW quality in WMP, OK in DIVX Player

I´m getting very sick of this problem. All of a sudden every BIG Divx movie is played in very LOW quality in WMP and every other player. The only player that play the movies with good quality is the DIVX Player you get with the Codec.
When I first installed the DIVX Codec everything was fine but all of a sudden everything is CRAP!!!
I have updated my grafic card drivers, WMP, Divx Codec what more can I do??!?!?
    Ordinary MPG movies works fine.

    Pleeeeese help me!!!!!!

Maybe you the screen in WMP is being displayed as 200% or Full Screen mode. Right click when playing the movie in WMP and check what it says.

guess it was a newer version of wmp which wont use overlay filters?

which version are we talking about?

did you try running mplayer2 from your *run* command?

Yes I have tried it, but it gives the same result.
I have the same versions of my video players as before.
          And it worked before.

DivX decoding quality settings in general media players (like WMP,...) and Divx Player can be different.

-> Check the decoding quality settings in WMP (mplayer2) with a right click on the movie, then properties and choose Divx decoder filter. you sould see the settings used by all movies players (except DivX Player).

-> Now check in Divx Player (right click, then options or payback quality)

Try to use the sames as in Divx PLayer.

              Sounds like overlay issue.

              ATI card?

I have the exact same problem. It seems that the only player that can play big .avi files without displaying choppy video quality is the Divx Player, it is even more noticeable when both of them are set to fullscreen. I played two exact same file one using Divx Player the other using SubViewer and the one using Subviewer was choppy and skipped a lot. I really have no idea also, I've been messing with the setups too, my only guess is that Divx Player uses less resources than others.
