    very f*cked up playback problem...

    heya
    i'm having this weird problem since a few hours...
    when i open a video file (mpeg, divx, xvid, doesnt matter), it plays perfect in the original window, but once i resize the window, or put it fullscreen, it starts either playing VERY choppy, or playing in a small window in the left under corner of my screen.
    i was like wtf??!

    since then i tried everything;
    -reinstalling videocard drivers
    -uninstalling ffdshow
    -installing ffdshow again
    -removing all codecs and reinstall them all
    -using tsunami codec pack
    -using bsplayer

    NOTHING works!
    anyone got a suggestion? would be HIGHLY appreciated

        What is your cpu usage when you try to playback in fullscreen? Post your system configuration.

          system;
          athlon 1200
          gf2mx400
          512mb ram

          but it's not that my system's too slow, it worked like a charm before

          now i tried the osd feature in ffdshow to show load
          seems it shows 100% cpu load when i put it on fs...

              nothing
              i watched a divx this afternoon,
              then i did some casual irc'ing etc
              now i wanted to play another one, and i get this prob...

              the only fishy thing that happened in the meantime was a spontaneous reboot... could that have damaged something or?...

                Check that DMA remains enabled in your system and that none of your IDE cables have physically become loose or being interfered with each others.
