    hardware or software problem?

I have recently ripped a dvd with flaskmpeg. I used the DivX 5.0.3 codec. On my computer, the movie plays smoothly. but, on my other computer, the following messages appear:

    1) overlay failed
    2) display hardware not capable of color-space conversion. Switching to RGB

After that, the movie doesn't play smoothly, but with a lot of shocks. How can I solve this problem? If you rip a dvd, will the movie then also depend on your graphic card?

    (sorry for my english )

Mmm, I don't think that would be the problem. I think the color-space conversion has something to do with it

i'm not sure this hardware will be sufficient, but download latest vga drivers and try again
