video running too slow and not sync. with audio

hi, I´m running XP Servicepack 1 and WMP 9, and was running a movie I downloaded, but first: audio and video are not running synchronously, and second the video runs too slow while the audio stream seems to run the right pace.

A second problem is that I burned a videofile that was running ok on my pc, but it was upside down on tv?

oh... and ( I know, many questions)... UncasMS said in an other post, he would never use WMP 9. Why, and do you have any other player that´s better?

    Thanks for your help

I recommend BSPlayer and WMP 6.4. WMP9 is just too bloated, does not allow you access to the decoder configuration and has more problems than most other (and simpler) players.

wmp9 has poor directshow handling/ little options

i prefer zoomplayer, bsplayer or wmp64
