no suitable decompressor could be found

This is due to not having the codec for whatever it is you want to watch or hear and sometimes it can be that the encode sample rate for the audio or video is not compliant with any of the players you're trying to use.
Right click the file and if the audio says MP3 and you try to play this in DIVX player you will get this error, because DIVX does not support noncompliant MP3 like MP3 at 48000Hz, and also if you try to put this in Virtual dub and change the audio you will get this error as well.

But I could be wrong about all of what I just said.

What players are you using, what is the file encoded in, do you get these errors once played as well or you just checked with gspot only and took it from there without playing them first?

If you really wan't this solved you have to be more detailed next time, okay.?.?.?

      Hope this helps
