    Problem with selected .AVI's(weird)

I am having an odd problem. I have this .avi that will open in the Divx player but will not fast forward. It crashes WMP9. I opened it in G-Spot (here is a screenshot) (I hope this works..)

If it dosen't, GSpot basically says ALL the right codecs are installed and working and that it should play fine. DirectShow can't render it though. Im getting other episodes from this SAME FTP that work fine and check out in GSpot. Just selected ones don't work. Gspot says the file is complete, it is using the Divx decoder and the mpeg layer audio and all are installed and working...I don't understand why they won't play...
    Any ideas?
    -Thanks

Original by Fallout.....I have this .avi that will open in the Divx player but will not fast forward.
So your problem is fast forwarding?

You must add key frams in Virtual dub to fast forward, and this is the reason for the WMP9 crash as well.

So just direct stream copy both audio and video and you should be fine.

      Hope this helps.
