    DOCUMENTS.EXE missing

    pease help me, i can't play any divX files. I get the error: "documents.exe is missing" what can I do???? is there a way i can download this documents.exe file?

      no player, just in windows. normally the avi-files have an icon of wich player you use, but now, it has icon, of file that windows doesn't know... you know what i mean?

        sounds like adware

        there is no such file neccessary for playback

        anything you installed lately?

          yeah...i had some problems with sound. i needed the ac3. so first i installed nimo pack, but then i had more problems. later i installed ac3 from soundforge. then i worked good.
          oh i installed imesh too, lots of ad ware, so i deleted it allready, but there's maybe still adware on my pc...
          what can i do?

                it works when i open the movie from the divX player, i use micro dvd player

                  dont forget to clean your system!!
                  ad-aware is a very good tool for this task.

                  i check my system with this soft every couple of days.

                    It looks like a file association problem.
                    Can't you associate file extensions in your favorite avi player? (like in mplayer2 view-options-formats)

                      you're right! when i registered the the types of files in bs player, i got the icon from bs player back!
