more XVID playback problems

Two days ago, when i started trying to play XVID movies all i see on the screen is a ****ed up image...usually just a grayish bar on the bottom of the picture and just lines..or a very distorted image such that i cant even tell what it is. i can sorta hear the sound still tho. I dont know what the problem is becuase XVID used to play fine. im running XP pro with wmp9. Sent the movie to someone else and it played fine.

try different xvid versions and player first

i thought there was only one version of XVID out?? the one on the site.

Try using FFDShow

Also try using BSPlayer
