tinra produces avi with 0 bytes

When using Tinra to convert an .rm file it cranks out an .avi with no bytes and stops. Using the gui I get the same response but it sits there and says it is processing the WinBatch. I have RealProducer G2 installed. Do I need Real Player G2 as well?

If you would be good enough to take the time to read the other Real and Tinra-related posts at these forums, you'd see nothing but negative comments regarding Tinra's functionality...

      Response from sitarip

Despite having read the negative comments trying a utility such as Tinra can be educational. Your response was condescending, uninformative and nothing more than an unsolicited opinion.

            Still no answer!!

You know friends, I am sitting here at Mcmurdo Station, Antarctica, I have one .rm file I would like to get converted to an .avi file even if it is of marginal quality. It ain't all that big a deal but I work for a National Science Foundation contractor and I don't have much patience for pompous bullshit. I get way too much of that. If you are telling me Tinra doesn't work at all.... JUST SAY THAT. If anyone out there has an answer to my original question.....please chime in.

                I agree - Tinra doesn't work

Try this extremely specific search in Google:

                <b>"tinra doesn't work"</b>

                in quotes.

You'll get A LOT of results for such a specific search.

Obviously this program is a piece of junk.
