    video with div2 fourcc...

I have a video (of bill hicks live) with the fourcc DIV2. I have looked and looked for the old divx 2 codec and obviously I cant find it, i've read that I just need to change the fourcc to mp42, which I had tried and still had no luck in getting the video to play. I've installed nimo's codec pack and now gspot tells me I have a codec which can play it, but it still shows no video when I try. Can anyone suggest how i can get this to work?

    Thanks

Well the audio plays fine, and it is the audio for the video it's supposed to be. I downloaded it from suprnova.org so I'm inclined to believe it isn't fake

Install the DivX 3 codec (variant) from the Tsunami pack. That should include the necessary file(s) to play the DIV2 file.

          Cheers.

If, in fact, the file is valid, it would appear that you'd have to download and install the original Microsoft v1/v2 video codec...
