Finally my response to mevan as I'm back from a holiday trip.
OK. I kept the sample rate the same. And there IS a difference. However, it's still out of sync. At the end of two hours, though, it's only about 1 second out of synch instead of the previous 1.75 seconds. So, an effect; but not a cure. Certainly interesting to note, though. So it gives me something to play around with. I've been using flexion.org's manuals (with very good results for DVD's by the way) for some time. But they haven't been updated in ages and he's perhaps getting behind the curve. Guess it's time to review UncasMS' site.
