    ffdshow and subtitles display

Can ffdshow or ffdshow-alpha be used to display subtitles?

I've seen posts mentioning that it can be turned on in the config menu of ffdshow, but I can find no such menu?

I currently have the latest ffdshow-alpha version installed......

That's just it....I couldn't get into the config menu! Its my own fault ...I had deleted the ffdshow program folder from the start menu.

This contained the link to start of the config....which is rather weird....rundll.exe ffdshow.ax, config.....or something like that....

thanks for the reply....one more quick question....just what is the difference bewteen ffdshow and ffdshow-alpha? Merely that ffdshow is the last stable release??

          Hello,
          about dubtitles in ffdshow filter...

I didnt find a way to make subtitles become placed under the video area,
I mean over the lower black band under the movie that appears ehen video is in 16:9 format...
I use to have running other filters that displayed subs in that area, which I prefer as they arent placed over the video itself...

Is ther a way to set ffdshow this way too???

          Thanks for any help

          Erich

Sorry by bad typing... where is written "dubtitles" should be "subtitles" and where is "ehen" should be "when"

            Waiting for help...
