playback video is distorted diagonally

I am having problems playing back an Enter the Dragon movie that was encoded using DIV3.

I have all the DivX codecs installed but when I playback using BSPlayer, the video comes out diagonally slanted from upper right to lower left.

Is there a setting or something that is wrong. I don't seem to have this problem with any of my other movies.

I have already installed ffdshow. I have it checked off for DiVx3 and tried playing around with other settings but no luck.

any other suggestions?

Probablky FFDShow is what causes the error. I had that several times. Open the FFDShow configuration, and disable all XviD and DivX support (you can still re-enable it if required).
