I have the following installed:
DivX 5.1.1
Xvid 1.0 RC4
FFDSHOW 20040405
When playing Naruto encoded by BakaSan I get block's, most apparent when the screen is white or black. I have enabled Post Processing in ffdshow, as ffdshow is being used to take over all decoding on all mpeg-4 based video files. However this freezes my machine.. I have the main PP slider set to the second notch, activating deblocking on the Lum for both H&V. Auto quality control is off. Processing strength is 256. I unchecked pp method mplayer, not sure about what it does. I dont have nics on either... I have the same codec settings in ffshow applied under the following config programs for ffdshow:
1)Configurator
2)VFW Configurator
Any help would be appreciated,

Windows 98se (all patches/updates applied)
