My problem is that I have a 700mb avi file (theoretically divx) and when I play it, WMP thinks it's a 50 hour long audio file, complete with visualizations. I am just thinking that the streams are unseparated, like the player doesn't know how to separate audio data from video data and resultantly can't play the file. Any idea what I could do to fix this? It won't load in VirtualDub, and all the divx fix programs and even a tag editor wouldn't load it.
