I'm having trouble spitting large divx avi files with Virtualdub. Everyone says that it works well, just open the avi file, set it to direct stream copy for audio and video, and select the segment using either the Home and End Keys, or by setting the range (of course by keyframes).
I have done all these and saved the segment, but everytime the audio is out of sync with the video. Is there anything that I'm missing? Or does the problem have to do with the video itself? Because this happens to practically every movie file I try to split.
