Friends: I am trying to convert my .avi files to DVD format. I tried my Nero, but I am asked to pay more for the plug-in. I tried Cucusoft from www. shrink.com, but that indicates that it will take about 6 hours to do a DVD. Is there a better software I can use to do this? Thanks for any help.

My friends: Thanks a lot for your help. I will try out your suggestions and give you guys a feedback. With regards to the reference to free stuff, I was surprised I am asked to pay MORE for the Nero plug-in. In the past I have bought software and was disappointed that they do not deliver what they promise. Thanks again!!!!!!!!Comment

Hi Wakenaam,
IMHO, I definitely go for TMPGEnc Plus which comes with trial version for you to try especially use with LT. Columbo's guide. Please check the guide out and download and try TMPGEnc plus from the link listed in that guide
Talk about the TMPGEnc line of software, including TMPGEnc Express, MPEG Editor and TMPGEnc DVD Author
