Newbie Help Please (avi2dvd)

Right... well here is My Problem LOL... I donwnoaded a movie to Put to DVD,, it downloaded as a Video Clip so i converted it to a MPeg Movie File (Tried Avi but not got enough room on hard Drive, Plue the Origonal was an AVI done with Xvid) so... i have Tried Putting it to disk using Sonic DVDit 6 But it says the File is too big to go to a disk so i thought maybe Dvd Shrink may do the Dirty work needed to put it on a Disk... BUT it says the File isnt Recognisable format or something Daft... What am i doing Wrong? is there something i am missing or am i Doing the totally Wrong thing.. any help would be Great... i have been at this for 2 days Now

search the forums for avi2dvd, shrink isn't for what you are wanting to do.

@viva1angel you need to read the rules...there is no talk about downloaded films here...i think its RULE 6

hmmm... looks a good programme... have done everything i am supposed to do... BUT it wont let me chose an Audio stream... the drop down boxes are empty

@viva1angel you need to read the rules...there is no talk about downloaded films here...i think its RULE 6

it says i cant mention illegally downloaded stuff... i didnt mention anything to say it wasnt a legal movie

No, but it would have been clearer had you said it was legal.

what type of audio does the file have? does it have sound when played on the pc?

unknown on the Type of Audio... it is all one file... there is sound though when i play it on pc

try installing this if you don't have it already. then try avi2dvd again.
