Creating a jpeg from a dvd movie

    Hey Guys:

I hope this is the right place to post this question. If not, please move it to the proper forum.

I have a dvd I would like pull a frame from and make it a jpeg. I don't know what program to use. I tried it with VirtualDubMod, but, it created a .tga file.

I am hoping there is a way to convert the .tga to a .jpeg or .jpg.

    What do you think?

    Thanks,

when using vdmod's "snapshot source/output frame" you can choose between tga, png and bmp

so you may as well use png and either convert the snapshot to jpg later on or copy your snapshot to the memory and use your favourite image processing software for saving the content to whatever format suites you best
