DivxMpg4 v3 problem

I have a .avi file I'm trying to play on my computer, but I can't get it to work. I downloaded divx 3.11 alpha and ran register_divx.exe, but still no luck. I also got DivXG400.2_7 and ran setup. If there is something in addition to that I was supposed to have done other than run those, please tell me.

File info:

width and height: 304x240
bitrate: 95kbps
audio format: mpeg layer-3
video: 23 frames per second
data rate: 90kps
video sample size: 24 bit
video compression: DIVXMPG4 V3

Computer specs:

Win XP, Matrox 200

Software info: Have windows media player 8, divx 2.0 alpha


Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.

your file is divx 3 low motion, thus you should either re-install your divx3.x or use any other filterpack that includes divx3.x

tsunamis filterpack for example does so.
