mini DV to HD

I captured footage from Mini DV and after editing tranferred back to Mini DV in other words it does not require any editing whether it is audio or video. Now I want to make this High Definition (HD) video.

Can any one please suggest me how to make it HD.

Upresizing from DV to HD will cause a loss of quality. Better to capture as HDV,if possible.

Sir,

I used pinnacle studio 14 for capturing the mini DV with 720x576 resolution. Hardware configuration is Intel Core i7 processor, 4 GB Corsair Ram, 1.5 tb and 500 mb HDD, 1 gh ATI video card, flat samsung 50000:1 monitor. I am familiar with Adobe Premier, Womble MPEG Editor, Video Edit Magic, Pinnacle Studio and many more. If any other software does the job, kindly advise me will try to arrange and get the job done. Kindly guide me.
