maybe you're missing the necessary audio codec?

i'm happy with shark's codecs - give them a try

one question without going into any explanations.... can atom play 720P mkv's?
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

        Hi folks,

@ UncasMS ... Don't most people say don't install Codec Package per say ... just add what you need as you use different programs!

@ atifsh ... I understand it plays with the right codecs but still way "Jerky"!

        G!

they may do and 99% are those users who have dozens of autostart entries caused by unintelligent software installations and running a couple of hundred windows services because they install and keep anything and give a damn to care about important aspects but pretend to be wisecracks by shouting out not to use "codec packs"

shark has done a more than decent job with his packs and what is being installed interacts way better than average joe would be able to achieve when installing manually

            Hi UncasMS,

Q1: So you prefer Shark's package over K-Lite and CCCP!?!?

Q2: Also, how about the story that I see on several other Reputable Forums saying to just install FFDShow and let it go at that!?!?

I suppose also add AviSynth and XviD and that should basically do it ... right!?!?

            Thanks,

            G!

FFDSHOW may not provide necessary splitter (like haali) so nowadays i'd say: ffdshow is ONE part but one needs other components as well

              and yes i prefer Shark's
