no Audio!!???

Hi there!


recently i downloaded a movie:
namely: from hell

The movie won't play audio at all!! Even the audiovolume gets disabled in WMP 6.4 after it has tried to download the codec
(unable to download the coded blabla).

The same problems i get with the newest Divx Player 2.0

i opened the file in virtualdub for some information:

Frame Size, fps 576x240, 25000 fps,
# of frames: 176020 (1:57:20)
Decompressor: Divx MPEG-4 Low-Motion
Number of keyframes 861
min/avg/max/total key frame size: 688/8951/53758 (7527K)
min/avg/max/total delta frame size: 0/2642/34446 (452055K)

<-- so this was the video (that works fine)

channels 5 (Stereo)
Sample Precision 0-bit
compression Unknown (tag 2000)
preload skew 16000 samples (0.33s)
# of frames 176009
min/avg/max/tot fr size 640/1280/16000 (220025K)

so what's the problem?? is it the "5 channel's"
or the Unknown compression??

hope i can get some answers here.....

The audio is in AC3 format. You need to have the AC3 codec installed in your system. The Nimo or Tsunami codec packs will have it. Alternatively, you can install a software DVD player, like WinDVD or PowerDVD.

sorry i posted same sort of question just a sec ago and now i found the same with an answer

BUT: the answers don't work with me

i installed some sord of a3c thing
i runned the bat file

is this maybe an old version or something?

i tried with PowerDVD too but this failed the same NO AUDIO
