There are a few differences between the 2 files:
1.Profile: You used Adv Simple Profile while the file that played has Simple Profile. For mobile phones SP is supposed to be more compatible, although Omnia(exactly which Model ?) should still play Adv SP.
2)BVOP:The playable file has none,you have 2.
Apart from this,I would try to encode at resolutions that match the native resolution of the phone. Also, you can change the codec ID from XviD to DivX or DX50 and see if it plays.sigpic

And what does BVOP mean and how to change it?
I want to know what are the parameters I should change when converting to MP4, so that the resultant MP4 plays in the maximum number of Smart Phones?Comment

OK, but how to change the profile in AVIDEMUX?

In AVIDemux click on "Auto" in Menu bar and select Apple Iphone. This will give you MPEG4-AVC withAAC audio in MP4 container. This should be playable in most newer smartphones.[/QUOTE]
But isn't this the same as the parameters we manually select when converting to MP4?Comment

There is a player called Core Player in Samsung Omnia which played all the MP4s and even the 3GPs flawlessly. Prior to this I used another player called TouchPlay and it couldnt play the MP4s and played only one of the 3GPs.
I think the problem is too many formats. I hope that one day the software will be the most important thing in the mobile phone and not the hardware and people will be able to find and download players to play any kind of files, MP4s and 3GPs and possibly even .AVIs, eliminating the need to convert them.
I think it is already happening with people talking about Android Phones and Windows Phones, its just that it should trickle down to applications as well. So that we end with a SmartPhone equivalent of VLC player or Windows Media Player.Comment

There was an "Add logo" filter in AVIDemux. This is missing in the latest version. So ,there is no straightforward way of adding watermark/logo in AVIDemux. But,it can be done through AVISynth script.

Just see the error message!
Division by Zero! Can you believe it? Every programmer is taught to check for this potential issue in the very first class! I am shocked!Comment

That is De-Logo. It is used to remove logo/watermark,not to add one.Comment

Same error! I guess you either pay in terms of money when you use proprietary software or in terms of time when using Open Source Software.
It is amazing that, given the amount of home videos made every second around the world, there does not exist an open source software, which presents a timeline and a story board into which you drag and drop individual clips and BMPs or PNGs, all of which are converted into one single movie in the format of your choice, in just one click! Along with watermarking and logo embedding necessary to protect copyright. Really, I am asking for something very basic and they still don't have it out there!
So how do I proceed now paglamon! Its driving me pagal!Comment
