ms v2 is the ORIGINAL mpeg4 codec from MS.
divx3 is the hacked version of MS codecs!

both are part of tsunamis filterpack

Wow, virtualdub played everything, but its still not a player >_<; I cant fast forward etc. Is there a player similiar to virtualdub? Or a program like virtualdub with player inside? Cause other players I have, BS, PowerDivx, wpm6.4 doesnt work, still. DOH!

are you sure divx5 doesnt still try to play the other formats?

i had tsunamis filterpack on my mchines for month and installed divx 5.02 PRO afterwards.

maybe you are suffering from a former divx5 installation?

This is a freshly installed xp on a new lappy I borrowed from a friend. BTW, does it matter which I install first between tsunami and the divx5?

not to my knowledge, but there are divx5 version that take over playback of older formats and maybe thats your problem.

I already unisntalled every codec, then installed only divx5 and the tsunami pack
