The system that I came up with to store all my DVDs back-ups and originals is: Place each DVD in a 225 page cd/dvd album numbering the DVD to match the page and position in the album i.e. 1-5-4 which translates to Album 1, page 5, slot 4. I number the pages and slots on the page as well as the dvd. I enter this information in an MS Access database and store the link to IMdb in the record. I wrote an application in .Net to sort the selection by either name/director/stars/genre with links back to IMDB for each movie. Entering new DVDs is through the interface as well but can be done directly in MS Access. Otherwise the collection becomes impossible to manage...Comment
