    Guinness and Budvar! Good choices!

I agree I don't drink to get plastered. I have one or two. But 24 over 6 months is streching it too thin for me.

To DVD's AND BEER! A perfect combination.

And can a DVD save you from dying of thirst if you're lost in the desert? No, but a Duff sure can.

        I prefer popcorn.

Get some microwaveable popcorn and sit in front of my projector. I then watch a action film that doesn't require much attention. The only problem is I tend to eat the popcorn in the first 10 minutes,

If I get thirsty. I just need to reach to my right and open my fridge. There is some Stella Artios lager in there at the moment but also Root Beer and Dandelion and Burdock.

How do you eat them? I've had dandelion in salad, and burdock, I've had as a garnish and cooked.

BTW I have a hot air popper, pretzels, and plenty of other snacks. That goes w/o saying. It's just that you can't get beer at the movie theater.

Including all the movies I still am transferring from VHS to DVD... When I finish I will have the nutz total of 976 and counting...

List?? What list? I dont have time for lists...

I remember I wrote a basic tool to compile all that when I had a Spectrum 128k it was great and I loved and had the time to add to it as it went.... After I left Home when I was 20 so now after 13 years I just found I cant be bothered to look, transfer the lot.... Ill do it when I retire....

English soda, which is bottled in Canada
So can you get it in Canada or England? I've never seen it in the states. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Thanks.

                      Thanks for the info.

Yeah, I LOVE Root Beer, but Ginger beer's a bit strong for me. Do you like Cream soda?

Yep. I like that as well.

Back on topic. I once saw a website where someone had over 6000 DVD's.

that's just sick. sure it wasn't a blockbuster?

seriously, if that is true (i don't see how) that is an addiction--a disease and completely ridiculous! do the math when dvd's were available and how many per day. if it is true it can't be a regular joe.

The guy had photos showing pictures of his DVD's. They were in at least two whole rooms in bookcase type furniture.

Here is a thread called "the 4000 club" at DVD Profiler.

I also remember reading about someone with 5000 DVD's. The guy estimated he had spent £70,000 !!

i guess also they are not 5000 individual movies (some could be 20 or 30 disc sets) or something like that.
