i guess it would be easy to make up any story you need anyway. not like they will scan your burns.

the scan speed graph with all the sharp drops is unusual, like it having a hard time reading the disk or learning to read, my benq only did that the first time or two it scanned and not near that much

is your power supply rock solid?

                BenQ 1650 burned on TYG03 at 8X

Burned from the same .ISO at 6X

I would bet she's left everything at default, but were those disks the shrink wrapped value-line?

BR7 sometime it from your batch, if you burn another batch dif brand and have the same problem then you can blame the original owner of that 1650

I bet your right on both! LOL yes the discs are the shrink wrapped from supermediastore. I have not had a problem with them so far.

Since I dont know what you mean by settings I must be at defaults.

                            Settings for IMGburn ?

There was a setting there that was changed I cant remember anymore what it is something lightningUK told me about. And I have left it that way since.

I am not sure what you mean by what I have mine set on?

As for how many burns did it take to get mine to look good. I dont know when I fist began burning with this burner my scans have looked good.

I have burned over 200 discs between dvd's and cd's a lot of data cds too with this burner since I bought it.

                              PA,
to screw up your burns, monkey around with advanced settings in imgburn,
especially overspeed for 8X media and turn off WOPC for all burns, burn 8X blanks at 16X and the benq won't even slow down for a bad disk
